The Trenton Marine Corps League, which is in large part dedicated to helping veterans in need is a 501(c)4 veteran’s organization chartered by Congress in 1937. All Marines past and present and Navy Corpsmen attached to an FMF unit with an honorable discharge are encouraged to join. We meet every third Wednesday at 1930 hrs. Our hall is located off Broad Street on Schiller Ave. Our members attends multiple Military and civic ceremonies each year.
We have three fund raisers each year that include a Mother’s Day rose sale, fund drives at various local fairs and a Silent Auction with all proceeds going to our Warrior Assistance Fund and our annual Marine Corps Ball. Thousands of dollars have been donated to local veterans in need over the past few years through our own Warrior Assistance Fund.
Our league also sponsors seats (2) to Disney for critically-ill children through the Sunshine Foundation. We’ve partnered with the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program and our time is often donated by providing military funeral services for fallen Marines and Navy Corpsmen. We also provide color guards for various ceremonies throughout the Greater Trenton area, parades in our communities and attend many Marine funerals as a firing detail as requested.
